Module 2: Goal Setting

You cannot get rid of something without replacing it with something else. So, if you want to eliminate your shyness or social anxiety, you need to define what you want in its place. Setting a specific, measurable and attainable goal is essential to keep yourself on track as you work through this course. In this module we will guide you in the process of setting an effective goal and help you eliminate the pitfalls that many people experience.

Module 3: Analyzing Your Anxiety

Most people with anxiety think of it as something that happens to them rather than something that they do. So the question "How do you know when to have an anxiety attack?" seems very odd. However, since the anxiety is not present 24/7 then clearly some part of you knows when to have it.

One of the initial statements was that in order to change you had to take total responsibility for the process of change and also for your problems. However, you can't take responsibility for something that just happens. So in this module you will learn to identify for yourself all the stages and components of an anxiety experience and learn to take charge of the situation.

Module 4: Eliminating Your Anxiety.

In this module you will be introduced to two effective, but simple, ways to reduce your anxiety and to change it into confidence.

Module 5: Identify Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs are the number one reason that most self help programs do not work. This module will guide you to identify any limiting beliefs you have.

Check out the post on limiting beliefs for more information.

Module 6: Changing Limiting Beliefs.

In this module we will guide you through an effective process of changing the limiting beliefs you had in previous modules.

This module gives you a step by step approach to confronting your fears in real life. Here is where all the preparation pays off.

Module 9: Self Acceptance.

Self acceptance is extremely important. If you do not like yourself, how do you expect others to like you. This module guides you to an acceptance of yourself as you are.

Module 10: Change Personal History.

Many of us have memories of embarrassing moments that continue to haunt us. In this module you will be guided through a process of changing those memories in a way that enhances your increasing self-confidence.

Module 11: New Behavior Generator.

Many people with social anxiety have been prevented from learning skills in social interaction because of their fears. You may see people around you who seem comfortable in interacting with others and perhaps you would like to be like them in that respect. This module will teach you a way of quickly incorporating and learning those skills that you see in other people.
